Adding Web Dynpro Application to SAP GUI for EWM
In this article, we will talk about Web Dynpro Apps, which will enable us to move SAP applications to the web environment, and show how it is adapted.

EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) is a SAP product used to support warehouse management processes. Web Dynpro, on the other hand, is one of SAP's user interface development technologies and can be preferred to create interfaces for applications used in EWM.
Here are some examples of Web Dynpro applications that can be used for EWM:
- Shipment Cockpit (SCO, execution and planning)
- Material ready, reversal of material ready, consumption by production in production integration.
- Application Tool for System Connection
- Implementation Tool for Warehouse Integration
What is Web Dynpro?
Web Dynpro is a web application framework integrated with the SAP ABAP development environment. This framework is used in the SAP NetWeaver Platform and provides users with a modern and interactive user interface. Web Dynpro offers many features that facilitate and enhance the use of business applications.
Web Dynpro enables application developers to design application models and manage application views. Web Dynpro applications run through a web browser and can be used on many different platforms. Web Dynpro applications can be easily customized and configured appropriately for different business applications.
Because Web Dynpro is integrated with a SAP ABAP development environment, application developers can take advantage of many ABAP features in the application development process. These are ABAP object-oriented programming, ABAP Database Access (ADA) and BAdI (Business Add-In).
- Go to the PFCG screen and assign the role /SCWM/EXPERT and enter the user names in the relevant field.
- The following services are activated by going to SICF.
For example we activated this apps;
- default_host/Sap/bc/webdynpro/scwm/MFG_STAGING
- default_host/Sap/bc/webdynpro/scwm/MFG_STAGING_REVERSAL
- default_host/Sap/bc/webdynpro/scwm/ MFG_CONSUMPTION
- Adding Web Dynpro App
Click the Add other objects button.
Double click on the web screen applet.
Enter the application name and press the ENTER button.
The relevant application that occurs in the favorites is entered. (Must be connected with vpn.)
The /SCWM/MFG_STAGING screen is as follows.
As a result, Web Dynpro is an application development framework integrated with the SAP NetWeaver platform that offers modern and interactive user interfaces. Web Dynpro applications can be used on different platforms and can be customized and configured for many different business applications. Thanks to its integration with the SAP ABAP development environment, application developers can take advantage of many different ABAP features.
